About Rita

Rita came to Nashua over 30 years ago as a wife, career woman, and new mother. When her children began school in the 1980s, she became active in the Main Dunstable PTO. After becoming its President, she introduced many family-oriented, after-school and evening programs. She also spearheaded the first fundraising program to bring computers into the classroom. In the 1990s, Rita was active in the Nashua City Democrats, worked actively on the Clinton-Gore campaigns and successfully ran for State Representative and served on the committee that worked with our Federal representatives to align New Hampshire's needs with those of the nation as a whole. Rita was also an active part of Hillary Clinton's primary campaign in 2008. Now she is ready and able to serve her community again as a state legislator.
